How does Ender's Gaming Club work?
Kids login to Ender's custom platform anytime between 4-6PM and join virtual rooms with kids their age that are supervised live by trained adults. They can choose different rooms based on the games they want to play or activities they want to do with rooms for creative, survival, events, Roblox, and more. We have a custom Minecraft server which is deeply integrated with the video call and lets users swap between different voice channels from within the game, all while enjoying a variety of activities designed and built by our Minecraft hosts. We also host a variety of different experiences in our Roblox Club, from roleplaying to competitive games and beyond, ensuring that there’s something exciting to do for gamers of all kinds.
What do Ender Gaming Club hosts do?
As a host, you will moderate and engage with children in our online gaming environments, ensuring safety, fostering creativity, and promoting educational content. In addition to communicating with members through our proprietary voice and video meeting platform, you’ll also interact with them in-game to help troubleshoot problems and keep the fun going.
What are the host responsibilities?
- Monitor and moderate gaming sessions to ensure a safe and respectful environment.
- Engage with participants, encouraging creativity and learning.
- Follow and enforce club rules and guidelines.
- Address any issues or conflicts that arise during gaming sessions.
- Work in collaboration with other hosts to facilitate bespoke in-game events and activities.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about their children's progress and behavior.
- Fill out reports at the end of each shift to share your insights and observations.
What are the requirements to host?
- Background in education and/or experience working with children.
- Experience in Minecraft and/or Roblox preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage and resolve conflicts effectively.
- Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm.
- Understanding of online safety protocols.
- Must have a working webcam and microphone.
- Candidates must consent to a background check.
What times and days can I host?
Ender's Gaming Club is open every day from 3-8 PM. Hosts work in shifts of 2.5 hours each, and you can choose which days and times you want to host.
