The new Survival world is almost here!

Hello, Ender Gaming club members and families! Host Lead Alex here.

I'm happy to announce that the long-awaited reset of the Survival world is almost upon us! We'll be releasing the new world on October 13th. This means that our previous Survival world will become inaccessible and a fresh new world of adventures will be ready for exploration!

Here's a brief overview of all the changes you can expect to see in this new world.

Version upgrade to Minecraft 1.21.8

Our Survival world has been running the 1.21.1 version of the game for over a year, so features from newer versions of the game haven't been available to players. With the release of the new Survival world, we're upgrading to 1.21.8, which means the following game features will now be available on our server:

• The Pale Garden biome and its unique mob type, the Creaking (from 1.21.4)
• New variants of cows, chickens and pigs, along with many new decorative nature blocks (from 1.21.5)
• The ridable Happy Ghast mob, which can be used to fly freely around the world (from 1.21.6)

Introducing the Ender Phone

We've taken the Ender Compass, which players have used to navigate our server, and given it a massive facelift! The new Ender Phone gives players easy access to useful features, such as buttons to teleport between different parts of the server. Over time, we'll be adding additional features to the Phone interface, such as the ability to teleport to other players, to your claimed lands in the Survival world, or to your plots in the Creative world.

Players will find the Ender Phone in their inventory on their first login, and by holding it and pressing the Use button (right-click on computers) the new menu will appear. We hope players enjoy the fun new visuals!

An exciting new HUB in the Survival world

Thanks in large part to the efforts of our expert builder Kylie, we have a beautiful new hub area where players will appear when first arriving in the Survival world. This little town has a variety of convenient new features for players to enjoy:

A new, intuitive land claiming feature

Setting up a base in the new Survival world is easier than ever! Find Logan in the hub and interact with the sparkling banner next to him to receive a Land Claim Banner item. Take the banner into the wilderness, find a spot to claim, and place it on the ground.

When you do, you'll receive a map with an outlined preview of the area you'll be claiming, and you can either interact with the placed banner to confirm the claim or break it to cancel and pick out a different spot. Compared to the previous claiming system, we're hopeful this one is easier to understand, and we'll expand it with more features in the future!

This is just the beginning of the changes that are in store - over the coming weeks, we'll be releasing many new features that are designed to make the Ender Minecraft server more fun than ever before.
